Oh my, it has been a hectic couple of weeks here at Mayhem Manor! I had a bestie in distress AKA the wonderful Alex from @Meeandtheband had been asked to perform at Take to the stage with Pride on the 16th November at the Gillian Lynne theatre in the West End, but she was pulling a bit of a blank on a theme for the bottom half of her main costume. She knew she was using Thunderdome on her bonce, but her skirt eluded her. We discussed this and whilst I was sat on the loo at work one day I came up with the idea of Vincent Van Gough's The Starry Night and so the theme for the skirt was born.

I have been promised the official photos and video when they are available so you will just have to wait to see them on stage dear hearts. I am happy to report that Mee and her beautiful dancers had a great time and here they are before they went on stage. The dancers are looking all super cute wearing the Love Bugs.

So dear ones, whilst I recover and start working on my Christmas range of wreaths I wish you all love and blessings from the Surrey Hills.

Love from your Aunty Mayhem xxx

I know, its a corny line but hey, back in the day when the world was a ball of gas, the only way you could build a website was by coding, and the first line of text you'd publish was hello world. I swear it was easier than learning how to use Wix!

So, enough of my ramblings, how did Mayhem start, well, by chance as it goes. My good friend Alex, she of Mee And The Band https://www.meemusic.co.uk/ had a new single she was releasing called Breadcrumbs and her story board featured her younger self changing to her as an adult. She'd made her own headress but was struggling with what to stick on my daughter Lucy's bonce, as Lu was cast her younger self. At that time I was bored and wanted to start a new hobby so I had started fiddling around trying to make a headdress inspired by the one Tiger Lily wore in the 2015 film Pan. For some reason I stuck a unicorn horn on it and sent it to Alex. Alex sent the image to her sister, the very talented Laura Sawyer at https://www.laura-sawyer.com/ and the rest is history as they say, Mayhem was born.

Now I am busy making seasonal decorations which will be added to the site as they are made so, stay tuned and come along for the ride. Love Mayhem x
